You Pay less for your Short-Term Employees

Working with J-1 Designated Visa Sponsors

J-1 Designated Visa Sponsors provide post-secondary students from countries around the work the ability to work in the USA for up to 12 months. These students are in many ways treated as any other US employee would however, with minimal advertising costs (NO FEES for PLACEMENTS) and no payroll taxes (FICA/FUTA) for participants working less than 6 months – you can save thousands on these amazing international students.

What is a J-1 Employee?

A J-1 visa employee is an international student that comes to the US on a specialized visa during their summer vacation. As different parts of the world have summer vacations at a variety of times these workers are available to you during most times of the year.

How are J-1 Employees different from American employees?

As an international student, J-1 visa holders are treated just like an American employee for all intents and purposes (pay rate, hours of work, etc.). Except for taxes! They are often from countries where the American dollar is worth far more than their home currency, so they are highly motivated to maintain a good relationship with their employer and will often return repeatedly from year to year until they complete college.
